Biologisch is niet altijd de meest duurzame keuze
Een biologisch keurmerk verbiedt kunstmest en synthetische gewasbescherming in de wijngaard. Het zegt niets over water, energie, arbeid of verpakking. Sandra E. Taylor noemt Jackson Family Wines als grootste zonneproducent in de Amerikaanse wijnsector, met een plan om de uitstoot tot 2030 te halveren. LIVE, SIP, California Sustainable Winegrowing en B Corp kijken naar de hele keten, niet alleen naar de sproeischema's.
