OVAM screent resten gewasbeschermingsmiddelen: hoogste concentraties in tuinen

OVAM screens crop-protection residues: highest concentrations in gardens
OVAM maps the impact of historical crop-protection use on soil for the first time. In 44 percent of 118 samples at least one substance or breakdown product was found, without exceeding test values. Levels on farmland were usually low. The highest concentrations were in private gardens, often DDT. AMPA, a glyphosate breakdown product, also appeared.
