Château Bellevue la Forêt
Château Bellevue la Forêt is een wijndomein in Fronton, in Zuidwest-Frankrijk. Het ligt in de Forêt Royale van Fronton. Philip Grant is eigenaar sinds 2008. In 2019 werd hij ridder in de Ordre du Mérite agricole.
Het domein is bekend sinds de elfde eeuw. Circa 100 hectare wijngaard. Droge witte wijn, zoete wijn, rode wijn om te laten rijpen, en droge rosé. De kelder werkt sinds 1978. Onafhankelijke wijnbouwers. Capaciteit circa 6000 hectoliter, van oogst tot botteling.
De stokken staan op drie terrassen, van de linkeroever van de Tarn tot de rechteroever van de Garonne. Hoge terrassen: steile rug op circa 220 meter, klei en kalk, constante vochtigheid. Middelste terrassen: flauwe helling op circa 150 meter, rolkiezels en alluvium, hydromorfe boulben-bodem. Lage terrassen: noordelijke vlakte bij de kelder, klei en zand.
Fronton is AOC sinds 1975. Négrette is het kenmerkende ras. Aroma: viooltjes, zwart fruit, drop en kruiden.
Wijnmakers: Loïc Galy en Antonio Gomes. Pierre Servant begeleidt beheer en administratie.
Lage terrassen: Ultra Violet, een frisse cocktail met viooltjesbloesem, puur, met ijs, of met een derde tonic of spuitwater. Pur White, Pur Rosé en Pur Red op 9 procent alcohol: Viognier, Syrah en Gamay.
Middelste terrassen: Originel Blanc, helft Viognier en helft Roussanne. Originel Rosé, 90 procent Négrette en 10 procent Gamay. Originel Red, helft Négrette, een kwart Syrah en een kwart Cabernet Sauvignon. Vendanges d'Automne is zoet, 100 procent Petit Manseng.
Hoge terrassen: Optimum, Négrette met Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon en Cabernet Franc. Forêt Royale rood, 60 procent Négrette en 40 procent Syrah.

Château Bellevue la Forêt
Château Bellevue la Forêt is a wine estate in Fronton, in south-west France. It lies in the Forêt Royale of Fronton. Philip Grant has been owner since 2008. In 2019 he was made a knight of the Ordre du Mérite agricole.
The estate has been known since the eleventh century. About 100 hectares of vineyard. Dry white wine, sweet wine, red wine for ageing, and dry rosé. The cellar has worked since 1978. Independent growers. Capacity about 6000 hectolitres, from harvest to bottling.
The vines stand on three terraces, from the left bank of the Tarn to the right bank of the Garonne. High terraces: steep ridge at about 220 metres, clay and lime, constant humidity. Middle terraces: gentle slope at about 150 metres, rolled pebbles and alluvium, hydromorphic boulben soil. Low terraces: northern plain by the cellar, clay and sand.
Fronton has been AOC since 1975. Négrette is the characteristic variety. Aroma: violets, black fruit, liquorice and spices.
Winemakers: Loïc Galy and Antonio Gomes. Pierre Servant guides management and administration.
