Wijndomein St. Martinus
Grootste wijngaard van Nederland, circa 32 hectare bij Vijlen. Sinds 1988 geleid door oenoloog Stan Beurskens, die via wijnbouwadvies.nl tientallen andere domeinen begeleidt. Geen bio-keurmerk maar circulair werken: vrijwel alle reststoffen van plant en druif worden hergebruikt, nauwelijks afval.
Geen onkruidbestrijdingsmiddelen, geavanceerde machines trillen de bodem los zonder omkeren. Negentig procent PIWI-rassen zoals souvignier gris en cabernet cortis, zeventig tot tachtig procent minder pesticiden, compostthee waar mogelijk. Kelder met hergebruik water, aardwarmte en LED.
Schillen, pitjes en steeltjes gecomposteerd terug in de wijngaard, weinig kunstmest. Percelen t Rott, Villare en Holset.

Wijndomein St. Martinus
Largest vineyard of the Netherlands, about 32 hectares near Vijlen. Led since 1988 by oenologist Stan Beurskens, who through wijnbouwadvies.nl guides dozens of other estates. No organic mark but circular work: almost all residues of plant and grape are reused, hardly any waste.
No weed killers, advanced machines loosen the soil without turning it. Ninety percent PIWI varieties such as Souvignier Gris and Cabernet Cortis, seventy to eighty percent fewer pesticides, compost tea where possible. Cellar with water reuse, geothermal heat and LED.
Skins, pips and stems composted back into the vineyard, little artificial fertiliser. Plots t Rott, Villare and Holset.
